If you are a disabled youth, you may be considered a "Household of One" for the purpose of determining "low income.") Under WIA income guidelines, certain types of income, such as unemployment, public assistance benefits, SSI, and child support, are not counted in determining the household’s income.

TANF Low Income Guideline
All household income is counted in determining eligibility for TANF. Youth who receive Medicaid, Food Stamps OR Free or Reduced Lunch are automatically eligible. |
TANF funding cannot be used for employment placement at private, for profit employers. It can be used for participation in:
