Wage Subsidy Program

 About Us
  • 100% reimbursement of wages and fringe while the individual is in training.
  • Community Action staff will provide:        
         -Pre-employment counseling services
         -Job Readiness Training
         -Post-employment assistance as needed

To qualify:

  • Sign a Wage Subsidy Program contract with us.
  • Provide relevant job descriptions.
  • Talk to us about helping you screen for eligible employees.   Eligible candidates must fall below 200% of the federal poverty level.
  • Hire the employees.
  • Help transition those employees to non-subsidized status.
  • Be willing to retain successful employees.
  • Provide documentation of wages/fringe for reimbursement.
