SELECT is an 8 week summer program for children ages 5-9 with a character education curriculum that focuses on service, education, leadership, etiquette, character, and teamwork; all of which are reinforced in a fun, relaxed, non-competitive environment.
Designed for the summer care needs of working parents who have school aged children, our highly qualified teachers provide numerous opportunities for campers to explore ideas, build on talent, express creativity, and build on individual strengths through hands on activities, outdoor fun, numerous field trips and special guests who volunteer to share their talents and knowledge with participants.
We celebrate a long history and tradition of creating an environment where every child feels welcome and special. Our staff is caring, competent and are committed to providing a safe, healthy, stress free summer experience where children have the Freedom to be themselves, have fun, discover new interests, build self-esteem and make new friends.
At summer’s end this select group of kids will leave us but will take with them new skills, stronger values, greater confidence and very special memories that will last a lifetime.
As funding is available, scholarships are provided either by Wyoming County Community Action or through the Department of Social Services.
